About Castle of Chrysi (Moglenon)
The Castle of Chrysi, also known as the Castle of Moglenes, is an imposing medieval fortress located in the area of Chrysi in the Regional Unit of Pella. Built in a strategic point overlooking the plain of Almopia, the castle offers panoramic views and showcases the military architecture of the era. Although the castle is now in a dilapidated state, the remains of its walls and towers bear witness to the important place it occupied in the history of the region.
