About Tipsiika
Tipsiika is a traditional Greek dish with grilled vegetables, which exudes the aromas of the countryside and combines the sweetness of tomatoes and peppers with the rich taste of olive oil and garlic. This recipe is ideal as a side dish or even as a light meal.
Ingridients
- 5 potatoes, cut into slices
- 3 eggplants, cut into slices
- 1/2 kilo of bachivo peppers
- 3 tomatoes, cut into slices
- 1/2 cup of water
- Salt
- 1/2 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
- 2/3 cup olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
Execution
- Preparation and Roasting of Vegetables: Place the slices of potatoes, eggplant, peppers and tomatoes on a baking sheet. Add the water and a little salt, and bake at 180°C for about 45 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and evenly cooked.
- Perfumed Oil: In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic until it starts to brown. Add the paprika and stir well to release the aromas.
- Serving: Drizzle the flavored olive oil over the roasted vegetables on the baking sheet and sprinkle with the chopped parsley.
Enjoy this dish hot, accompanied by bread or feta cheese, for a full traditional taste experience!
